What kind of horn do you have?
If it is a BBb with 3 vales play the B with 2&3 same goes with 4 valves.
Play the C a bad 1&3 and lip very much.
The 2&3 combo is not the best in the world, but practice by going down the chromatic scale and playing it. It is possible to play much lower with the 2 and 3 and feels wierd until you get it really down.
If it is a 4 valve BBb then play the pedal C with 1234 and usually lip down, or pull your first valve slide considerably.
