if it is an old yamaha 69C4 and you don't use it, drill out the throat .006 thousandths larger than a conn hellenberg mouthpiece and it will make that tuba zing. the larger throat made a big difference with the shallow cup.
i used it on the 190 we had at the Brasswind for a concert and it worked great just to try out the tuba. The tuba had weird intonaion problems.
