Good advice. Good airflow is essential for clean articulations.
Isolating the “K” has never really worked for me. What I find more helpful is to practice the articulation in reverse: Ku Tu Ku Tu (I use the Arban double and triple tongue exercises) I also practice double tonguing the triple tongue exercises: Tu ku tu Ku tu ku
It helps me to even out the sound of the articulations.
One more thing: be patient and be sure to practice slowly. You learn how to play fast by playing slow!
