I haven't played a whole lot on a Getzen G50, but my old teacher Ed Diefes used to have one when I studied with him, I don't know if he still does now or not. These are both good horns, it all depends on a few things. I think that the Conn is a better all around horn, as it is a bit bigger than the Getzen, but both would work in a lot of situations. The Conn is a bit more free blowing, in my opinion, and I think that the 5th valve placement is better on the Conn (I don't like the Rusk on the bell 5th valve). You can't go wrong with either of these horns. I bought a Conn just because it fit me better than the Getzen. Hope this is a decent start.
