I'm a active amateur player. I've had my CB-50 for about 5 years now. I've played it in all kinds of groups, large and small. It sounds fine to me and hasn't needed any repairs. A friend of mine here in town played mine and liked it so he got one for himself and he just loves it. He gets a beautiful warm singing tone out of it.
