We could sure use a new way to remove dents in tubas and other instruments.

In the oil and gas industry, they run gadgets and contrivances miles deep into the ground through narrow tubing to execute some pretty complicated tasks, like punching holes in the walls and doing accurate measurements. And this happens in fluids that are highly toxic. So why can't we figure out a way to place a device ten feet into a tuba that is sitting on someone's bench, to push out a dent?

So I appreciate your efforts, Jim, to help in this direction.

However, I doubt that a magnet will have the strength to correct the shape of a dent. I am skeptical. Often I am quite wrong, too. But it is still up to you to convince me that you are right.

Magnets are implicated in quite a few scams, as you no doubt know.

You are hedging about the patent. If you can't give us a patent number, then you don't have a patent!

P.S. It's its, not its'.
