The Department of Music at Kansas State University seeks a graduate assistant to teach tuba and perform with the KSU Faculty Brass Quintet.

The major portion of this Assistantship involves teaching undergraduate tuba students (majors and minors) and performance with the Kansas State University Brass Quintet. Recent concerts by the KSU Faculy Brass Quintet have included 'Laudes' by Jan Bach, 'Suite francise' by Eugene Bozza, 'Music for Brass Instruments' by Ingolf Dahl,'Heavy Metal Alice by DAvid Del Tredici' and many others.

This position, which requires 16-20 hours per week, pays $6,000 to $7,500 per year in addition to a full tuituin waiver. The Assistantship is renewable for a second year pending satisfactory performance.
