I totally disagree. Roger has performed the Vaughan-Williams more than any other tubist but never recorded it. Plus, his interpretation is one that is seldom, if never, heard by most of us.
Say what you want about wanting to hear his sound; everyone has their opinions, I guess. Fact is, few tubists that perform the VW are anywhere near the musician Roger is.
