I own a weightlifter tuba stand. They used to be made in California. It is the absolute best tuba stand I have ever owned or tried.
Well built, simple and folds up small and the guy died and they do not make them anymore.
I would love to have these dupped by someone and make it as good as this one. I have had it 6 years and it looks the same except worn. Everything works and works great and the rubber pad has never been replaced once.
I once tried to contact the family to find out where he was getting them made at.
if you find out anything let us know. I have searched on and off.
Does anyone have an old TUBA book with the old address again and maybe they can post the name of the guy and the city he was in.
