Matt said exactly the same thing to me concerning the one-piece leadpipe on my York Master. There was no gap to make adjustible, and even with adjustibility, there would always be SOME gap with the AGR. Thus, the adjustment range of the AGR would always lie outside the current instrument's playing characteristics. And adding any gap at all would likely make the instrument slot more deeply, which would move that instrument in the wrong direction.
