This is probably a VMI 132 CC. I owned one of these horns when they first came out. It is very similar to a 188, but some will argue that it has a better sound. The intonation is not as good as a Miraphone, but it is not as bad as say a Rudy Meinl. It is overall a great instrument and very versatile. My 132 served me very well in college. Good Luck!
