I just switched from my Bach 25 & 18 - used to use the 25 for almost everything. I bought (on a whim) a Parke Ofenloch. Marvelous mouthpiece! Even, deep, penetrating, sonorous sound across the whole range (from"off the piano" low to "tenor falsetto" high). If you ask, you can find 'em used for about the same price as most other new mpc's. I also tried many Perantucci mpc's. I really loved the 88 - that is until I tried the Parke. I play a (very) BAT, and the mouthpiece you use must not only fit you as the player, but your horn, too!

Good luck on your search - I hope you are as sucessful as I was.
