One of my students had a 4-valve that was an original CC. It was a nice playing instrument. He traded it for a CB-50 that I thought was only slightly better. I understand that Art Hicks, who recently retired from the Lousiville Orchestra, had a 3-valve version at one time. Maybe the same horn? He spoke very highly of it.
