I was taught by my former tuba professor about the relationship between the Ralph Vaughn Williams Tuba Concerto and Harmonica Concerto. Problem is, there is no harmonica concerto. The piece in question is titled "Romance for Harmonica & Strings." I believe it is in one movement. I bring this up because while working towards my Master's degree, we had to write an essay on some piece of music. I picked the RVW Tuba Concerto. The first time I wrote about the relationship with the Harmonica Concerto. Needless to say, that didn't fly. When I actually did research, I learned the truth, and the essay passed. Learn from others. End these lies! ;)
