My remark was about the ensemble. I placed it there because I enjoy listening to the group and place them in the same category as the other top ensembles ever to perform brass literature. I hoped that anyone reading this would have caught the fact that these brass groups, as well as other quality brass sections of major symphonies and quintets can perform all that is required, and in certainly any situation that was demanded.
This post was not meant in any respect to show disrespect to Phillip Jones, or any other person, professionally or otherwise.
By the way, if you don't like reading these posts, why do you?
