I like the flames around the bell, but I would personally like to add a skull & crossbones/Jolly Roger motif. If I had my way, it would be completely Texas-themed. Texas flag, shape of the state, cattle, boots, saddles, prickly pear, mountains, jack-a-lope, oil derricks, the Alamo, bluebonnets, etc. Better have a BAT to put all that on. OR have the whole tuba painted like the Texas flag. Kinda like Buck Owens' guitar. That way I could do some tuba pickin'! (and grinnin'). Who cares how it sounds, I'm as Texan as they come, however, my vanity is only skin deep.
