I love mine. You can make it sound like a small CC or a singing euphonium. It is a large F and the valves are a little big. If I had one complaint, the large valves would be it. My fingers are pretty big though so it's not that bad.
Some folks will refer to intonation "issues" or "quirks" when describing an F but I look at it differently. Once you get to know the horn you will learn which fingerings to use on a particular note when playing in a particular key. It's pretty simple really. Also, low C, B, and Bb all seat well once you learn how to play them.
It's a great horn regardless of the price and very well made. If I ever get the opportunity, I would love to get my hands on a MW 2145 and a MW 182 (small F) to gather a complete set of Meinl Westons.
