Why don't you read what was said , ANY buyer should consider all the possibilities. There was nothing in dp's post that even remotely resembled an attack, it was very diplomatic, and simply encouraged prospective buyers to consider another possibility to Charlie's extensive list of "reasons why" these warehouses are blowing out tubas. Glowing rationalizations about shops that deal in high-volume can be one-sided. Perhaps a bit of cynicism is more than very sensitive people can endure, but to characterize my carefully-worded post (out of sensitivity for believe it or not Charlie) as an "attack" is simply being paranoid.

Based upon what you two former employees have said in your EIGHT replies, that in effect your former employer IS simply a warehouse-of-sorts. I guess I was giving them more credit than was due, assuming they made provision for people to try-before-they-buy.

If BM really DOES warehouse horns, and often ships them without even unboxing them, then it would be no wonder that their past two "tuba specialists" felt burned in some way by their experiences.

SO....is it appropriate for a pontential buyer to consider that a low-price warehouse supplier may not even LOOK at your tuba before they ship it to you ? I think it is. And it is important for potential buyers who read carefully-worded, above-board posts like this one to be informed. THAT is what this BBS is for. Not your incessant, persecution-complex whining, Charlie. And Mark, have a care, lest you become as paranoid as your mentor.
