Don't get too wrapped up in bore size. The new King 2341, although a smaller bore instrument, is capable of putting out a massive sound. The importance is not in the bore size, as much as the overall horn design.

There's only one good way to determine which is the best horn for you. It's kind of like the bathroom remodeling... Do you want the round toilet seat or the oval shape? Both would work fine, but you might find one to be more comfortable than the other. You can ask me which I prefer, but since you don't know the shape of my ass, what exactly will my opinion do for you? Go to Dillons (they carry both models), forget about the specs, and find the horn that feels and sounds the best for YOU.
