Yamaha YBL-321 (single rotor) bass trombone, put back in like-new condition with a new lacquer finish, ALL FOUR NEW PLAYING SLIDE TUBES, and a LIKE-NEW ProTec ProPac bass trombone case (plus 1-1/2G mouthpiece and several new accessory items).

- 9-1/2" gold brass bell
- .563" bore

Single rotor bass trombones:

- cost less than two-rotor basses
- weigh less on the left hand
- can play almost chromatically, except for low B naturals. (The low B can be played on a single rotor bass by simply extending the F-attachment tuning slide.)
- Doug Yeo (Boston Symphony) at one time pointed out that most of the time he only attached one rotor to his instrument. He only added the 2nd rotor when he really needed it. (less weight / fewer bore obstructions)

The price of this Yamaha YBL-321 is only $750 (firm) + shipping. The comparable "new" Yamaha single rotor bass trombone model is the YBL-421G, and Music123.com (about the cheapest anywhere on stuff) has the 421 model for over $1000 more at $1776.

Besides the two pictures shown and linked below, here are four more that you can cut & paste:
