When I was playing a pt-6, I was playing on a Miraphone Eb (the large one). It was more usefull in the quintet, but, It was also very good in the orchestra for kind of music that I prefer smaller sound (not just for the range...). My Miraphone is now for sale. I changed my C tuba for a very different kind of tuba (Rudy 4345). If you're interested, you can email me for more detail, pictures etc...
