In addition to my tuba, I find myself hauling around a lot of accessories. It varies depending on circumstances but the list could include all of the following:
K&M Tuba Playing Stand
K&M Tuba Resting Stand
Manhassett Voyager Music Stand
Music Stand Light
Music Folders
Extra Mouthpiece
Tuner
Metronome
Towel
Eyeglasses
If I'm not carrying a music stand, I can get most of it to fit in the Manahasset Voyager bag. It is a tight fit and a real pain to have to pack in a hurry. And, the bag has no padding and therefore no protection.
Is anyone aware of better bag? It would be larger than the Voyager bag and have a some protective padding. Divided compartments and zippered pockets would be nice. A good shoulder strap in addition to a comfortable handle (or maybe even backpack straps). It should also stand up on its own. Did I mention lightweight?
