My newest tuba is just a tad slippery in my lap. The previous tuba was small enough to control without thinking about it - but the new one is slightly distracting.
I notice a wide variety of towels, remnants, and other lap-drapes being used. So...the floor is open for recommentations. Absorbing moisture would be nice - but my primary need is traction.
