Seek out your local instrument repairman. He should have the right felts (and corks, if they are older models) for these instruments. Plus, he is a good guy for you to become acquainted with. If they are like 99% of school instruments I encounter, the felts are not the only thing that needs attention. Even on sousaphones, I use a tool to measure the port alignment and determine the exact thickness of material needed, and typically use a thin cork washer and a thin felt instead of one thick felt under the valve cap. this results in a firmer, more precise action, and better response.
