They may see themselves as patriots, but true patriotism is making good use of your freedoms. There's no rule that says you MUST support your country when you teach. We're not re-writing history and teaching to make our country sound superior to everyone else, like the Indian nationalists are at this moment (although there are some who would like it that way). Also, even though it is true this country has a majority of Judeo-Christians, we all must respect the fact that there are vast, vast quantities of Buddihists, Hindus, Muslims, and atheists who deserve just as much recognition as the Judeo-Christians. This country is set up to be a melting pot. To claim otherwise goes against what America stands for.
Yes the facts are accurate, but the opinions are on a very conservative slant. I for one would like to find a paper someday that doesn't slant in either direction, but I'm afraid it doesn't exist.
