Wimps!! (he says with a smile). Many years ago Gene Porteusi introduced me to the wonders of NAPA 4031 Trim Adhesive. This stuff is about as perfect as a rim cement can get- it holds well and is a whole lot less messy than any of the designed-for-bike-tires alternatives. In fact, if my teeth ever fall out, I plan to use it to securely hold my dentures so I can keep playing the tuba (keeping this thread tuba related).
If we put together the quartet on wheels, I call first part and plan to borrow a flugelhorn, er, I mean soprano tuba.
