No one seems to be giving you a straight answer, and I can't remember exactly either - though I did know at one time. They went up with inflation between 1960 and the late 1970's, just like other stuff. I do remember in the late '70's that the price of a new lacquer finish Holton was significantly higher than a Mirafone 186 - as would be expected.
