You have probably one of the best tubas ever made. They are incredibly in tune, have a great sound, and will outlive you. Buy it and fix it up, you won't be sorry. I suggest that you try to get new valve caps and finger buttons, they will make a world of difference. They were built like tanks, so I can't imagine it being in bad shape other tahn looks. Congrats, you have a really nice horn.
