You don't seem to understand. Soldier first. Musician second. Read that again. If you can get in a special band or the Air Force, more power to you. But if you are looking for a "sit on your butt playing Festive Overture" gig, it simply is not the Army Band field. If you find such a gig please let me know, no matter how little it pays. I'd be there yesterday.
