I have the MW 2141, a Besson 981, and a Willson 3400. They all play differently. The W is my main instrument, being an absolutely superb, all around horn. The MW has a smaller, lighter sound and centers extremely well. It is a fine solo horn although it has a few intonation idiosyncracies in thge lower register. The Besson is a well known model that sounds like a Besson. If you go with the MW, make sure you get one of the redesigned horns (i.e., less that 2 years old). There was a significant improvement is the orginal design versus the new design.
