So howabout when a bidder uses one ID to drive the price so high that no one in their right mind would outbid him, then he doesn't pay... but the next highest bidder(hundreds lower) happens to be the same person, but with a different ID? Of course the seller doesn't know this, but those who pay attention to the buyers-and-sellers-of-specefic-items-on-that-auction-site recognize these "coincidences".


Is there a term for that? I've seen it happen enough with the same few eBay accounts that perhaps we ought to coin a term for it.

(people DO notice these things! Fortunately none of the sellers have caught on!)
