Never had parachute pants (that was a Jock thing at my HS). However, I DID really like Rush, Ronnie James Dio, AC/DC and Black Sabbath back then. (Oy, was that a different person or what?)
I had never heard of Mahler or Prokofiev. Back then, I was just getting into that whole brand new Personal Stereo thing (the "Walkman"). And MTV was just coming online on that new Cable TV thingy. Back then, I liked Mozart and Copeland okay, but thought that "The Rite of Spring" was crap.
