Has anyone else tried the Miraphone 1258 compensating euphonium? I played on one at the Army Conference and was very impressed. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's among the top 3 professional euphoniums out there today. I thought the intonation was impecable, the sound was big and dark, but with lots of projection, and the valves were G-R-E-A-T! It just feels good. If anyone else has played the euph, what did you think about it? I think it's in the top 3 with Willson and Hirsbrunner!
