Yup. For me, it was the year at Fiesta Texas. Going into that year, I lacked confidence and played timidly. Coming out of it, I was ready to trust myself with a clearer understanding of my abilities, and I was ready to put myself in situations that demanded my all. In the years since, I've lost a bit of that, but I'm trying to get that back now.

Something about playing 600 performances in front of the public in a year that will put you on the other side of whatever barrier is in front of you. My skills improved perhaps 50% during that year, but the results improved by a larger margin--I was consistently achieving a higher percentage of my abilities.
