If you are buying a tuba for fun, then stick with what you know and get a BBb. You'll get a much better tuba for a given sack o' cash, and you'll have more fun with it sooner. If you get a good one, it will serve you well for decades of playing in amateur settings.
If ever progress to the point where you have professional aspirations and need a tuba in a different pitch, you'll know enough not to need our advice. You'll also have a private teacher who will help guide you to a good decision.
