I find on the F tuba I am using the mouthpiece that Matt Walters (I keep trying to re-name him Matt Dillon, hah!) sent me with it. It is a JK Exclusive, not expensive, about $50, and has a narrow cup while still having enough depth to sound good. With a narrow face and small mouth, like me, you might find it works for you. I'm starting to switch to a wider mouthpiece because of a better sound on the low notes, but I find when I have to play high the JK is still my choice. I presume that as I develop as a player, I may be able to switch to a bigger mouthpiece, but it will always be a huge mismatch to my face, compared to the faces of the big people who usually play tuba.
