Brasswind sells an adapter (made by DEG or Getzen, if I remember correctly) which fits into a Euro receiver and allows for use of small shank trombone and euphonium mouthpieces. Cost is around $13.00-----much less expensive than a new mouthpiece. I don't know if sound quality is affected when using this device. Roger Lewis at Brasswind could probably give you advice and details.
