A couple of years ago, Jon Landell had one of his titanium flutes up for sale (Yahoo! classifieds, no less). Rare-earth magnets instead of springs, the whole shootin' match. Advertised price for one of these was $99,400.
And you thought a Yorkbrunner was expensive...
