Ya, just like most of the guys said, it's not atonal at all. If you have accompaniment to this unaccompaniment, it shouldn't sound any more atonal than Alec Wilder.

Just like you've read already, if you practice it enough, you may begin to hear its tonality more.

For example, when I first played the 3rd movement, I thought it was wack. But it's a ballad with many interesting chords leading to another. Lots of sevenths/major sevenths. And the ending C# is the 3rd to the assumed A major chord. The 1st movement begins in G major, and so does the 4th movement. I'm sure the 2nd movement has a bunch of augmented chords and other irregular chord progressions.
