Musica 2301 (VMI) 5 Valve CC Tuba
This 4/4 size CC tuba has 5 rotors, a .748 bore, and a 16 1/2" upright bell and total length of 43". Was manufactured by VMI in Germany. The Serial number is 291016. There are a few small dings in the bell flair but otherwise in great shape with excellent lacquer finish. Thumb operated 5th valve comes with two slides (Flat Whole Step and 23 Combination). The tall bell keeps the sound away from the player’s ear. Narrow body makes this a comfortable horn to hold.
Comes with an Altieri Gig bag. This tuba does not include a mouthpiece.
Asking Price is $3,200. Tuba is located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, I would be willing to travel up to 200 miles to deliver tuba otherwise the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
