The Atlanta TubaChristmas 2003 was probably the best one I have attended. Kudos to Don Strand and his students who did a superb job of organizing and putting on this event. The Phillips family was there, and it is always a joy to have them around. The folks at the CNN Center were cooperative, the players were the most conscientious bunch of tuba-caroling musicians I've ever played with, and we just had a good time. We had just over 400 players in attendance, which I believe is a record for the Atlanta event.
