I had troubles last year deciding whether to play the original or the Robert King until my first cornet player informed me that the King version was a no go! The original is available in North America from Portland Sheet Music. According to Sam Pilafian the King version was put up a step so King himself could play the entire "tuba" part on his baritone. I say stick to the original keyed parts. Your first cornet player will appreciate it! I recommed the old Empire Brass recording to see what works as far as octave placement goes. Rolf Smedvig, Tim Morrison, man what a band! The Bohme ends up being a great challenge if you spend some time trying to figure what really sounds the best and not just the version King put out.

My 2cents,
