go to sears or walmart or whatever and pick up some vacuum cleaner belts for eureka uprights. the belts are like O-rings. they are a bit softer than hard neoprene, but not as soft as the "see through" rubber used by some folks. I use it on both sides on my Mirafone.
Should set you back less than $4 iirc.
