fmea was a nice convention. MJT played a very nice concert, also the horn quartett and the stuttgart youth orchestra from germany.
Not many tubas at the exhibition but i had nice conversation with richard morgan (he worked at the miraphone-booth as tuba teacher)and the technician from miraphone (not sure but i think his name is cristian). The two tuba-guys told me a lot about tuba playing and the technician site from how to build a tuba and the problems.
The CC-1291 played very well with good response over all register. also the new version from the F-180. It is not the tuba from the 70`s that r.bobo played. the horn is in tune is a very well 3/4 F-tuba. Richard Perry tested it at the booth and he was very impressed about the horn.
