The more padding in (yes in) and around our horn the better. You need a good hard case: no gig bags (prople have tried. . .) and I would not recommend a box or anything like that either. Do not buy a seperate ticket for the tuba! When I went to Tanglewood I did that and they tried to make me check it anyway!
