Please forget about taking your tuba with you in the plane. I suggest having it shipped to Indianapolis by a reliable LTL motorcarrier. Borrowing another's instrument when there makes more sense. The Musician's unions have made some arrangements for instruments to travel by air but no one at the terminal seems to know anything about them. They are also absolved of any liability if they damage the horn, whereas a motorcarrier is not. I'm afraid that tubas and arabs have a lot in common. H. Critchley
