100% cotton works well, yes. But, there are also microfiber towels, and after using them on my car, I'm sold on their effectiveness. They clean off excess wax, buff the finish, and don't seem to leave any scratches whatsoever (even cotton can leave light swirl marks).
Anybody use these on a regular basis?
