I have seen and played a three valve 1927 Conn #239xxx, it was a top action horn looks like a 10J,but smaller and in CC. It seemed to have been made in High pitch, but had a low pitch (extended)tuning slide in place. The owner/seller remarked that he had not seen one like this before, and I respect his opinion.I didn't play it very much,as it is not what I am looking for, but if you are looking for an interesting part of tuba history go for it.I will not post where or who yet, so you do not miss your chance at purchasing this horn.
This might just ignite more comments positive or negative,But I just wanted to confirm the
existence of a 20's Conn 3 valve CC tuba.
