Just curious which state and while you are at it could you give a brief lowdown on your All-State Band procedures.
Who picks music?
How many stages to make state and how make are chosen at each level?
Does the music ever change? (ie in Texas once you make State, chair placements in San Antonio are determined over try-out on the actual pieces played - to assure practice on that music!)
Any other info would be nice.
