The Brits tend to call the Eb blatweasel a "tenorhorn"; others call it an "alto horn"; in the USA, it's sometimes called a "peck horn". In most of Europe and the USA, a "tenor horn" is a small bore instrument in Bb, pitched the same as a euphonium.
An easy way to avoid problems is to also supply the key of the instrument as in "Eb tenorhorn" or "Eb alto horn". Seems to keep the confusion down.
